Sorry to see no replies to this, so thought I'd see if I could help.
You are probably already clear that this is a unit, not manufacturer, marking.
My first thought was Luftwaffe, but there was no Zerstörergeschwader 35, and Abt., the usual abbreviation for Abteilung, does not fit either.

Based on the abbreviation & letters, the best suggestion I can offer is:
Abteilungs Nachrichten Zug, Gewehr 35
or Battalion Signals Platoon, Rifle 35
and hope this makes sense & is of some help.
Like you, I would welcome reading any other opinion that makes better sense than mine!

Hi,
Some early cleaning kits were marked with the serial number of the weapon to that it was assigned, with a preceding G if it was a rifle or a preceding P if it was a pistol.
With regard to the unit marking, sorry no idea.
