    Salut ,

A member told me it can be found in ' Das Sanitätsgerät des Feldheeres ' ( Band V of the Taschenbücher des Truppenarztes).
If somebody could be kind enuough to post a scan of the pages 25 & 26 which deal with it ?

    Many thanks,

Why I see M39 (probably medical) Tornister and manual for M34 pattern? Old scan of well know Angolia/Schlicht book:

                      angolia m39 bagpack.jpg

Now seriously:- I strongly believe that medical tornister was issued in 1934 together with 'plain' version prescribed for other branches. In other words:- You are on the money here not Angolia. (AND I SUSPECT THAT EXAMPLE FROM PICTURE BELOW IS 1938 DATED, SAME EXAMPLE HAS BEEN SHOWN BY YOU IN PREVIOUS POSTS)

...or maybe this is part of the content from your manual Fred? Pages shown below came from book printed in 1941 but Tornister looks like WW1 pattern...Don't know why??? I would be pleased for reply

I' m more than sure than mentioned manual, dated 1941, shown this pattern of medical Tornister, as far I know issued during WW1:

Sorry but I don't understand exactly the senses of your question.

I've found this tornister some years ago from a guy who owned it since 1976 from a US medic officer, and this officer took it as a souvenir in Germany on a german medic soldier.
This backpack is complete and the list showed here is original to that tornister.

I can't explain more about the different date used in book or on the list or in the book.
