tornister pack question

I bought a tornister a year or so ago and I hope I didn't get stung. I hope the fellows in the know grade it acceptable.
It has a makers name of franz brehme walsrode 1943. Don't trust this though so who knows

thanks Jack. I have seen a couple variations of these and since I know very little, glad I found this forum, I guess this is an original piece. Are thier any special things to look for to make sure it is genuine? Mike

I haven't seen these being faked (yet). There are plenty around and less collectors that want one.

these packs are not faked yet.... they were expensive in production back then... and they would be very expensive today..
Yours it typical M39 mid war production - steel fittings... straps to hold A frame... black leather..
in 1943 I would expect riveted construction already and RBNr number - but Yours is still sewn..
