    Luftschutz - Hausapotheke

    Hi Forum,

As I have no knowledge regarding these Luftschutz - Hausapotheken, I would appreciate any info regarding price and desirability. I saw one a Weitze, but it did not have the same content as this one. Asking price was €275.

What you see in the cabinet are the content which are included.

    Thank you

    Hello!

It is allways hard to tell a price for such items. If I tell you a price that is fair (in my opinion), other people will deny.

People that own such items tell it is worth much more, people that want such items tell it is worth much less.

Weitzes Price is another thing... he is a dealer. Just take a look in 5 years. Bet ist is still available then there - or much lower price.

Not much people collect such things. And there are 100 thousands of such Apotheken out there (nearly every household had such, even in small villages - I saw them in bulg on fleamarkets here for 5,- DM (ca. 2,50 EUR) ca. 15 years ago.).

So maybe 30-90 EUR would be realistic (in my opinion)

    best wishes
    Michael

agree and add 5 euro for each item and you'll see €200 is realistic for a filled one...

          Salut,

nearly every household had such, even in small villages .

Was it private purchase in most household ?

I thought they were only located in larger/communal Air-Raid-Shelters ?

          thanks

I don't know how it was purchased or distributed during the war but it was indeed, as the nomination reveal (haus-house), present in most of the family homes back then...

Most of them were used untill the late 80's during cold war period.

I think, the large one as shown was for houses with more than 6 Persons and the small ones for flats with a family of 3-4.
Here in Berlin, they go for 30-40 Euros empty in the moment.
To name old prices: I got one for free, filled, When the guy heard that I'm a Scout troop Leader. But that's about 20 Years ago. I still have th case in my Kitchen on the Wall, but surely with modern Medicine. I think I don't need Chloraminpuder in these Day's.
