I just wanted to ask, I found this thread years after it was posted, but maybe I can resurect it I have got a mint pouch like that, in a small pouch there is a KIN snap, so it is prewar Kooh-I-Noor stamping. How would it be KVP pouch then? Also fabric is exactly the same as wartime , like on LW mp 40 used.

Potwar DDR was using a lot of wartime material and parts ( the same was with West Germany in very early days ). So the fact that the parts look like wartime doesn't mean that the whole pouch is wartime made. Other thing is the fact that those are recognised as postwar made and use specficly for early DDR army.
