Which kind of WW2 German footwear should I describe next?

I've to agree with Manuel that it's very frustrating to put all effort in things that are your passion etc for a few people..

This leads me to the question : how many people are really interested in footwear ?

This leads me to another question : how many people are really interested in Flight stuff ?

I've the same problem..., it's probably better to talk on and on about fake/real Knight Crosses and other exotic stuff than discuss common items..

But that's the way it is unfortunately..

I really admire people like Manuel to give us great info about unrevealed misteries in the shoe/boots world..

Another problem is that I know many collectors with great stuff on mannequins , but with not one pair of original shoes/boots on their mannequins..
It's not important.., who can see ,..who cares.. etc..

I even met a guy having mannequins with long coats and boots having no trousers..., people don't notice..!!
My god..!

I won't leave this forum for nothing in this World my friend...it's like a second family to me and have found many great fellow collectors and friends the likes of you, Jan,Divebomber, Scott,Brig,Wiking, Kuligow,Chris,and all the others which are too many to list!I think people are interested in all we post and discuss,be it footwear,bayonets,equipments at al, just a little "support"wouldn'hurt,would it?After all we spend most of our free time researching and we are glad and willing(not to say eager!)to share with our buddies what we've found!As strange as it may seem once I gathered a collection of fifty complete uniforms I decided to keep only twenty of them and to focus my attention on footwear,trousers and field caps;don't ask me why....perhaps because the former two seem to be the items people care less about(fakes,repros and iffy pieces aplenty!)while I always loved the latter.
I've always loved flying equipments and one of my dreams was to have a COMPLETE (parachute and all!) mannequin depicting a LW fighter pilot,but I hardly know a thing or two about the subject, therefore I haven't bothered!
What led me to the decision of quitting to describe footwear(and discuss trousers)is the fact that many people stand idle waiting for the others to do the homework(read the ones joining our family only to leech info and post what they read and learn on other sites or even worse!)for them!I may be wrong as I may be,but I reckon the truth isn't that far from this!
In my opinion this site should be for associated members only(two tenners and a half a year won't change anybody's life for sure!) and again I could be wrong......or right,for that matters!
