The Germans did have pouches for the gasmasks from WW1, less in WW2 and then they made them after the war as well, This doesn't look like any German one I have seen, but as we know that doesn't mean anything,

        Hi Mike,

It does resemble the Fallschirmjäger GasmaskPouch in a way, although I'm not very familiar with these.
Are there any markings ? Does it have some sort of rubber plug on the bottom ?

The manufacturing details seem to be German. May be, if there are no markings,it could be a personal addition for carrying the gasmask.

          Thanks guys....
I am confused.. on hand it looks a bit like german work - brown leather or light green canvas.. like pre war stuff.... a bit like german manufacture... but I'v never seen anything like that... so I suspect it maybe some swiss... work ???
its not marked... - and early items are almost always marked....
it costs 5 dollars.. damn.. interesting piece...

At least similiar. It is from the page that Peter mentioned before. The description says (sorry, only in German)
