Hi
Both canisters and masks are II WW used the so called Police canister type are pre-war and for civilian use normaly. During the war all kind of equipment was used I guess for the home front, so it's hard to say wrong or good here.
Only thing I don't like that much is the long shoulder strap on the army one, it could look like BW, but the straps came in many executions along each other during the war. The spring holding the spare glasses are late IMO ask the seller what the stamping is in the lid. There must be a tree letter code and a year.
Otherwise it's well used equipment maybe it's a bit too expensive when you include shippings costs. But thats my personal meaning.

police ?? where ?? how ??
for me its a regular army type.. I would say canister is late war - spring holding spare glasses is single metal piece (not "wire")... its missing steel tube inside... cant say is there a spring and rag... long strap looks suspicious..
fine set but in poor condition... IMO
Note my words "so called police canister" I agree with you, no special police canister executions are made, at least to my knowledge, they where either civilian or military models. The "Army" model was send to the varius Wehrmacht branche's like Heer, Marine, LW and also the SS. We all know that here but Police sound a little more "expensive"

I have a mask just like the one shown, except I got it for $5 out of a junk box in the basement corner of a militaria shop.
Here is how it turned out(when I got it, it was absolutely filthy).
