These gorgeous,GENUINE, DAK first-model tropical boots are being auctioned on eBay Deutschland but before asking for a few photos and realizing what's been done to their soles have a pint of Valium !
Whatever.....they're worth of being monitored by someone who's in need of a pair of these,for they're beautiful, genuine and extremely rare!

You're right Merdock...sorry for that!The soles were replaced after the war with VIBRAM rubber "Caterpillar"thread!

What about finding a shoemaker who can replace these sole by leather ones..?

It'll cost let's say... $ 50.- or what ? worth a try IMO..

they've removed the heels as well !

Yeah..., but that's what I meant actually...a good shoemaker can replace the whole sole ,even if you want a heel iron on it...

Now and then heel irons and other stuff can be found...

I think Italian shoemakers can do the job..., Italian shoes are famous and most of the time they have leather soles... , am I right..?
