I am trying to get together a Feldgendarmerie Oberleutnant impression, the event I am attending is going to be rather cool and rainy. I am looking to combat that. I have been SCOURING the web for a leather officer trench coat, but the only one I can find is a suspicious looking repro leather trench coat on epicmilitaria.com. I was looking at replicaters.com but I have no idea if his are any good, and since they seem to be custom made, I would have it long after this event.
My second option was to purchase one of these:

Only issue, I dont know the accuracy or use of this jacket. I know it is a kradmantel and what those were used for, just not the early war type?
My third and final option was suggested by a fellow on the Axishistoryforum,
To get a officers raincoat. Apparently he claims they are cheaper and easier to find.
Any insight, help or links would be much appreciated!
