    Looking after Y-straps

    Not sure if this is the right section,but what can i use to keep the leather
    nice and supple......saddle soap?

    I use "vaseline", maybe you can try out the "collector community" forum....

        Why? At the show in Wavre I heard from an "fellow" collector its a good way to take care of your items. Il better clean my leatherwork up... (Ik heb alleen maar mijn riem er half mee ingesmeerd)

          Vaseline is good to preseve metal doesn't allow any rust to develope, but for my leather when I get a belt or soemthing, a towel with some warm water just to get any dirt off and then I leave it alone, if the conditions are right you dont need to put anything Michael

                  I would not touch leather with anything if it's still in good condition - leave it alone..

                    Leave them alone. Stiffness is better than putting anything on them.
