      Hi Kriuks,

I´m not sure. This kind of labels and the slogan "deutsches Erzeugnis" were used until the late 80ies.

            Hi Guys,

did I ever shown you a "Zwiebackbeutel"?

The Zwiebackbeutel was a bag made from linnen, cotton or rayon/viscose and was issued as standard equipment for the german soldier.

It contains the daily portion of zwieback bread (Buscuits) made from the Bäckereikompanie (bakery company).

The shown bag is just a reproduction made by myself with original messaruements. For sure the Zwieback isn´t original too but it was made with original recipe. Very hard and salty taste!

I believe this style of packaging dates it around the 1930s. Jim

That I don't know. I think if you search wartime ads etc you might be able to narrow it down. Jim

Nescafe was introduced in Switzerland in 1938. I believe in contrary to popular opinion it was introduced to Germany in 1939. Your can could be wartime or not. I believe it might be wartime but wouldn't bet my life on it. I have a discussion on these cans in Vol 2 of my ration series showing the 1938 Swiss can and collapsible tube compared to your style of can. Postwar cans were similar in construction etc. Jim
