German W2 or W1 Cigarettes??

Hello Gents
Not really equipment but I dont know where else to put them.
I bought these a while back and was told they are WW1 German brought back by a vet.
Trouble is I was also told recently the case they were in is a WW2 anti-skin poison ointment case.
Any of you gents smokers! WW1 or WW2!!

I don't think the cigarettes are German made. They read Fab. Tab. Michealense = Fábrica de Tabacos Michaelense -S.Miguel - Azores
Ofcourse could be import?

The Cigarettes are not German and I´ve never seen them related to the Wehrmacht but the Anti Gas Poison Kit Case is a rare Equipment Item a lot of Collector looking for. This is the normal Content
