original yes, but considering the material the grommets are made of, it's rather a 1941/43 production...
Early war Zeltbahnen still have aluminium fittings.

Zinc fittings is more early/mid war time

Also agree with JP - zinc eyelets and buttons - possible mid/late 41 to early 43 production.

Original zelt with regular raindrop pattern and in nice condition at that.
