    Hi
Could anyone please tell me if this bag is WW2 or Postwar.

    Thanks in advance

It's weird becuase the bag itself looks wartime but the shoulderstraps look postwar, however it has been sewn in already. So can't really judge what is going on here.

        Probably early Bundeswehr?

          Genossen,
This Rucksack has DDR features I look for..... most odd.

Just one of the many variants of backpacks to replace the SturmgepƤck at the end of the war. Typical stitching, straps most probably reused from obsolete equipment. Rivet is clearly late-war, small strap leftover from ammo pouch etc.

                Nice, minty latewar backpack.

                  Thank you all very much
I have always been under the assumption that it is post-war.
Always happy to be wrong in these cases

I agree with Lucius, interesting variant of a late war backpack. There are countless variations of this type of Rucksack. I own several, but each new one is different...
