Front hooks will be easilly found, but finding the right backstrap will be a lot more difficult! Everybody is looking for them, as they are missing on lots of Y-straps on the market today. The Czech army used a lot of WH Y-straps with backtraps removed as carrying straps for their WH-style rucksacks. A lot of these surviving 'Czech' carrying straps are now in collections, their rucksacks long being cut up to create fake pouches and other items...
Be very careful not to buy an Austrian backstrap. These can be recognized by the lower part, where the leather behind the belt hook is broader than on the originals.

      Greetings,

      Lucius

if you can find all the correct parts for this piece youll have a great late set. '44 dated Ys are not a common site at all. good luck. Glenn

If they're yours, you can try to complete them...but they won't be very interesting as not untouched....if you plan to buy them....save your money, there are still plenty of genuine late war examples on the market...check the estand quite often and you'll find nicer ones...
