Luft Afrika footwear..

Hi,

Is there anyone who can share some Luftwaffe Afrika footwear..

Boots,shoes..., even the Navy kind low canvas shoes..

I've seen pics of the " Navy" low quarter shoes being worn by Luftguys ..

Never heard of Luftwaffe having these officialy...,but a pic (s) tells it all..

Any info ,pics are welcome..

The guy in question..

Note : Pithhelmet ,shirt ,shoulderboards and short trousers are all one match in color..., a matter of luck..

Neckflap originaly attached to pithhelmet ,made outof a HBT jacket..
The collar of the HBT jacket is sewn under the sweatband of the pithhelmet..,which makes it a rare piece IMO.

Hi Jos,

These belong to a good friend of mine. He got them straight from the Luft. vet that fought in Africa.

Hi Jos,
thank you for sharing your pieces my friend!Your boots are beautiful;I've got a similar pair and another,found near Bologna,whose canvas has been"blackened"by the owner with a burnt cork to make them look like all-leather knobelbechern !
Or friend's low shoes are beautiful as well,but.....you're not the only one to own a tropical LW uniform with matching colors ...but you're the only one to own such an interesting pith helmet !
