    What is this medical item?

Need some help from the medical collectors. Any idea as to what this is?

    Hello

What is the size of these?

IMO, these are used both while sterilise chirugical instruments - to pull the inlay out of a metal container (filled with boiling water or special product).

I have similar ones. I'll post a picture later on.

    Regards

    Jan

I found the same in my Truppen-Besteck.
But no idea about it's use.
For a throat injury or some face wounded.

Very interesting, thanks for the replies. I don't have these in my hands but are included with a standard issue Sanitätstasche (right-hand) that I'm considering buying. As to the length, I'm not sure but they do fit inside the pouch length-wise. I'm thinking they were not standard issue for medics and stretcher-bearers?

These items are described as "Griffe zum Einsatz des Instrumentenkochers" in the packing list of "Einsatz 4" in my
Truppenbesteck 35 (that I currently offer on the eStand)

So Jan is right in my opinion.

                Thanks Bernhard for the confirmation!

I should have read my packungsliste first
