    Pionier Gazmask

Pionier Gazmask with pre-war canister dated 1936.
Filter is a pre-war model too.
Name + grade + unit of the owner is written on it (363 Pio. Bat destroyed in Normandy).
Red points were painted for identification on canister & mask.
    Regards.

Any idea what the red stamp reads inside the mask?? I have never seen any stamp like this inside a German Gasmask.

The mask is an GM30 1st model which normally was replaced by the more modern GM30 3de model or a GM38. Many of these masks were handed out to factories as means of air raid defence, maybe the stamp is a factory stamp of some sort.

      Thanks UNCLE GOOSE for information.
Might be a Luftchutz stamps (2 inside the mask & 1 on the canister under the hand written name indication (visible on the picture on the quadratic box for lenses)).
      Regards.

Certainly a new utilisation after a RLB one.

              Salut,

Is it a normal German made cannister ?
I cant tell for sure but it looks vaguely like a Czech one ??

In any case I simply love it with that RLB stamp

              You must have big shelvings
