Ankle shoes to ID, please help!

    Hello,

I would be pleased for your help with this pair of unknow ankle bootsI assume that these are Polish pre-war but not sure. Cause these were found in France, and some details looks rather typical for pre-war French Army I a bit confused. I would be extremely grateful for any informations, if somebody is able to send my ot particular example of Militaria Magazine would be simply stunning!

    Ok some pics:

Though nice, these boots don't offer any distinctive attributes that would give an easy identification. You could use them for seemingly many outfits.

              Hello
From the shape , they look like the M30 ankle boots from the Tcheque army .
              Can you see a letter A or B ? .
              Regards
              P-Y

rear shaft doesnt arch back as id normally like to see...the curved back seems to me to apply to the wh footwear of this type. will there ever be an end to boot postings the like of non wh issue items? of course not-thats what the forum is here for.

Unfortunately I didn't find any markings. If any I would mention about it on the very begining.

PLEASE POST ANY PICS of Tschechien M 30s! I would be pleased for some additional info about story behind "A" and "B" markings. Plese tell my some more or send to ISBN or title of book

Steiner I note that these shoes are not German before I bought them but big thanks for indicating features which they simply do not have BUT German ankle boots should met

                    Hello
Check " Militaria Magazine #200 " ( can not post pictures , need OK from publisher ) I have advised many time people to get it , very interesting work done there , not complete , but the best so far .
                    A for large
                    B for small
M30 an evolution from the M24 model copied from Austrian/German models . Several countries used the more or less same design of boots , which was simply the fashion of the time .
Apparently on this type of boots , they also had 2 version , one with and one without the extra sole , the one with the extra sole , was meant for the infantry , since they walked a lot more , I would guess . The one you pictured was apparently for everyone else , but the Infantry .
