Jerry Can, DAK?

I have this Jerry can, that i am cleaning as it was spray painted in silver. It is Wehrmacht Wasser 20L. can, made by ABP(?). It is stamped with eagle and something i can't make out. Is it DAK or what is it?

Nicely preserved paint under the silver coating!

I also have a 1942 tan painted 20L water can, made by the same company. It was found in Crete, so I think that it could have been used in Africa, as well as in the Balkans or Italy.

the color of the canister is the early North Africa used tan color so it could been used Tunisia.
It seems this canister was canister for water ( remains of white cross are visible ).

It's indeed a water can. The stamp next to the eagle is a Waffenamt acceptance stamp. Good to see it's cleaning up nicely!

Very nice 20L wasser jerry can. These have high value on ebay! Yours is in very very good condition, I have one but its banged up, and has some paint loss. Going to mount it on the kübel come spring

Thanks guys. This has nearly no dents and was found by my grandfather at a harbour. He used it on his boat for years, at that time it was already spray painted. Thinking i had better use of it, he gave it to me
Cleaning is doing well, but i have spend at least 15 hours on that! I'm a helmet collector, so i have no idea on how to price this once it is done, any ideas?

Water can.
It's written on it "WASSER".
Yellow paint started to be used in 1943 directly in manufacture.
Before 1943 a field paint was possible.
