for me i don't see anything wrong with the example you've posted from the images supplied. I think it's a good honest one.

Steve, i can't make my mind up on yours from scanned images, there's nothing that makes me go "Hmmm.." (in a negative sense), but i'd rather see some camera shots if possible to finally venture an opinion. Sorry it took so long to reply too .

Hello all,
. The bayonet came with it (can't say that it's always been with it), and is dated 1944. Which helps the display out.

Patrick the grips on this bayonet are not correct. They are a earlier bakelite found from 39-42
