Vehicle Data Plate / Need Help Identifying

Hi. While this item may not technically fall into this section of the forum, there was no area particularly dedicated to vehicles, so I thought that I would post here...

I'm looking for help in identifying this vehicle data plate that I've had for some time. Any info. would be appreciated as to what type of vehicle it came out of, and is there anyway to determine what branch or unit this particular vehicle was assigned to?? My research efforts seems to indicate this came from a Type 166 Schwimmwagen.

    Thanks for any info, gents!

Maybe it came from this Schwimmwagen "freed" by some French résistants during the liberation of Amiens the 31st of August 1944
