prices for jerry cans

Hello,
I would like to add a German WWII jerry can to my collection. I haven't seen many for sale. Could anyone give me an idea of prices for a regular Heer (not SS) jerry can? I've seen a few on the U.S. Bunker Militaria web site for $110. The condition of the can does not have to be perfect.

Hi there,I'm afraid I don't know what they go for in the states but over here in England and at a show like Beltring they go from £20 upwards depending on the maker/type ie water or gas and who is selling it.There is one for sale on the Battleflag Militaria web shop at the moment priced at £85,somewhat over priced I think.The last one I bought was £45 last year.Regards Hans.

jerry can prices

Hello Hans,
Thanks for your response. I haven't had much luck finding one. I'm sure they're out there. I'm just trying to get an idea before I make a purchase. A gas can is what I'm interested in.

here in belgium its price for german ones are 30 up to 80 euros
those for the water are more expensive than for kraftstoff
i bought recently some for 25 euros
its also a diferent thing when you go to military sales here there are some chech guys who ask you 80 euro for a german one in ciney and the same guy offering the same ones in holland for 45 euros .....
depends who the dealer is ..
