DAK tropical Bosch Mystery box HELP!!!

I got this box from a local vet estate along with some WW2 German books, and US medals and ribbons etc. which were all stored in this box(not the books but the pins) The box is painted tropical tan and measures 6 by 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches. Top cover is marked BOSCH GERMANY-IMPORTE DALLEMAGNE. Anyone have a clue as to it's intended purpose?? Thanks

Looks like a spare light bulb box for a vehicle of some description. It's intended for the export market (French/Belgian most likely).

Just my €0.02 worth!
