unknown cxn coded pouch

Hi,

i just got this pouch by chance . It is cxn 1942 coded, the belt loops were removed (imo wartime, but who knows). Any ideas what this pouch was originally used for?

Hi there

Its a battery box for the small "blinkgerät", & for me one of those curious things that happens in this hobby. I have been looking for one for ages, & have within the last 2 months managed to buy two, both less than US$30. You can see the 2 holes for the terminals on the right hand end. The internal data plate & divider are gone. I think the top strap has been added at a later date. Hope that helps, & here are a couple of pics of mine.

Hi all.
