    Inside the bread bag …

    Hello,
I would like to open a post dedicated to the important equipments of the german soldier !!!
I want to show my work, the breadbag with all content.
This bag belonged of a german landser of the 85th infantry division. He arrived on the Normandy Front the 12th august 1944 near Caen. He arrived by camion. He had his gefechtgepack complet, and all standard equipment for a german soldier …
At that moment, he had no ration or food in his bread bad. The “K” ration is on the Gefechtgepack …
First you can see the bread bag complet. You can see the bread bag strap, overseas cap m 40, brush, can opener, esbit stuff complet, issue fat container, Daimon Telko Field Flashlight with a replacement battery Wonder marked 1941 and toiletry set

In the toiletry set, all stuff for a german soldier in Field !!!!

All comments are welcome !! If you are interested I can make a post “inside the gefechtgepack “

nice assortment of everyday field items. always good to see stuff like this as many (including myself) dont go this deep into the specific collecting realm of field gear. but others (like you) let us know what comprised a fully loaded front liner on campaign. Glenn

(how the heck do you spell campaign? is that correct?)
