Tan MP 38_40 pouches

Hi everyone,
A friend of mine has a pair of tan MP 40 pouches. He is sure they are the real thing... As far as I know, he got them from a Spanish army officer in the 70's. Your opinion will be welcome. Thanks in advance and best regards.

a 'stallholder' at stuttgart had the gall to sell s**t like this openly. and stuttgart had enough concern about the integrity of the event to let him go right ahead and do it.

Thanks guys for your help and imputs... but my friend seemed to be strongly convinced about the originality of those pouches. Anyway, the officer also GAVE him two ORIGINAL MP 38, yes, yes MP 38 not MP 40. No doubt about them... He "army officer" was a Guardia Civil officer, by the way...
