Hey Gang,
What do you make of this? I was thinking about acquiring it due to the morbid "neat" factor...
Thanks!
GERMAN WWII MEDICAL AMPUTATION SAW. Authentic WWII German field medic/doctor amputation saw. Maker name "Jetter & Scheerer Germany" also marked "Chrome Plated". It was manufactured for export out of Germany to the USA before the war broke out so that is reason for the lack of German military stampings. Once war broke out most all exporting out of Germany was cut off. The saw and other medical/surgical related items came from the estate of a German doctor that served during the war. I have the photo of the German doctor performing surgery on an injured soldier during WWII. The saw is certainly not post war. VERY RARE! Nice condition, used, heavy and clean.
PRICE $100
SHIPPING $10
