Well I couldn't resist buying another pouch so I'm only losing $80!!!
This one is a 44 ross marked pouch with web straps, thanks to Mr Nemo for his usual excellent service.I Think this vinyl type are the best construction wise and are much stronger than some of the flimsy brown leather type.Regards David.

The pouch above is the most interesting construction wise.

You can find this exact same pouch marked bla 1944.
So because of this pouch the theory is that bla changed it's name to ros in 1944.
If this theory is right we'll find no bla 1945 or ros 1943 pouches...

            Well,

            Reviving the discussion.

            My main concern is storage.
How to store such a huge lot without having a least some insects, mouse, humidity, mushrooms, etc.. attacking it ? Ukraine is not a dry country, so these should have been stored in airtight/waterthight containers ????

              Fungus etc.

The Vynil ones I bouht all had a very particular /typical smell (like a humide basemt in a old house) Most of them had what looked like a "little bit grey / greenish fungus something" between the compartments. This could easily be removed. Several also looked if they have been piled up ...and became out of shape due to this..... But all could be reshaped and look beautiful at this moment .

              Regards

              E.

If it is "de terrain" (from the field, ie : not the Ukrainien stock) I would love to see it ...

                      Hello
These pouches are all original , end of story .
Regarding storage , well , when you have files and files of them , of course you will get some damages !!! on top or a the bottom , but usually , the one in the middle will be in perfect shape and since these were stored by the army , it is most likely that they did not store them outside .
A couple of years ago , at an estate sale , I got a box full of never issued K98 25 of them , well the top ones were in pretty sad shape , but all the other underneath , were perfect , so .... there you go .
                      Regards

So how is the g43 pouch market doing?

I personally don't see them in the huge quantities (bannana boxes)anymore... ofcourse they are still around, but in my opinion prices are very slightly rising.

Any Russian member (Mr. Nemo?) got a clue how much there are still left in stock/depot?

                          Let me know your thoughts.

                            Hi,
I think the stock is coming to its end by now...
Perhaps e few hundreds are hold back until the prices go up again !?
Ersatz material ones are seen less and less.

Mr. Nemo (Roman) is not a Russian but an Ukrainian - the same difference
as a Norwegian and a Swede

Keep buying some more as long as they are available, that's my advice !

One person that distinguish russians from Ukrainian ( and overally slavs nations ). conagrats. Its seems very hard for many Western nations.

                                geography

                                Hi Marcin,

thanks for your comment - I think it is elementary to
know a minimum of geography when you are writing
                                about and to someone.
A Dutch doesn't like to be called a German, a Latvian is not an
Estonian and a Roumanian is not a Bulgarian...

                                It's easy, or not ?

The more to the West you go, the more difficult geography seems to
be. To some it is of no importance or simply doesn't exist.

But be careful, never call an American a Canadian......

Many Americans I met said: Oh, I see, you are from
                                Luxembourg, GERMANY !! Horrible !!
                                That's how it is.......

In some peoples' heads, the German 1944 map of Europe seems to be the latest edition they ever studied

Kindest regards to Poland (not Slovakia!!),

                                Ferdinand
