    First time I saw the L.B.A with 43 stamp and without an B or (S) interessting I mean could someone avid LW collector give me an explanation! When do LW stop stamping and out there! What year are the latest noticed. My latest L.B.A stamp is 40 !! on a ammo pouch

      Kim,
      I think it's quite common to find only LBA...(with year) on items.
      For example I've seen parts of equipment having these markings and my latest marking in my collection is : LBA 44

        Thanks for the reply and I am aware about the LBA markings are common on LW equipment my main interesse was for how long time LW was stamping. I believed they stopped around 1940? But much wiser now.

          Yes, wartime LBA is very common. I have seen many pieces marked LBA 43 and some 44.

                Those darn repro criminals......

                I agree that wartime LBAs (such as LBA43) are pretty common on Luft items. Fliegerblusen, trousers, FJ trousers, tropical uniform items, field gear items, etc.

                Those socks are cool though John!
