Zeltbahn equipment

Could anyone tell me what the average soldier was issued to go with his zeltbahn?

Hello,
what the soldier was issued as Zeltbahn items related was called Zeltausrüstung 31. It included a M31 Zeltbahn, a M92 Zeltleine (string), a M01 Zeltstock (tent pole) and two M29 Zeltpflöcken (tent pegs).

I have heard that 3 tent poles were issued to each soldier so that when combined with a comrade they would have a complete tent. 2 shelter halves combined to form 1 tent, 3 poles in the front and 3 in the rear. 3 spikes, 1 for each corner and 1 on each guy rope and 1-2 guy ropes, for the front and rear as stabilizers. some soldiers were also issued a tent pole carrying bag but that was not the norm I believe. According to the manual the Zeltausrüstung was:

1 Zeltbahn 31, dreieckig (triangular)
1 Zeltleine, 2 m lang
1 Zeltstock, vierteilig
2 Zeltpflöcke

Not clear is if this was given to a soldier. Many people say that each soldier was equiped with only 1 part of the Zeltstock, but as you can see the manual indicates the the Zeltstock consisted of 4 parts. So this suggests that each soldier was equiped with 1 Zeltstock (which consisted of 4 parts)

No problem Glenn, maybe I should have mentioned the translation with the german words

If everything goes well, I will receive the original H.Dv. 205/1 Zeltausrüstung des Mannes (Personal Tent Equimpent) next week. Maybe that will shed some light on the issue.
