    Opinion on german ankle boots

    Hello

A while ago I placed these boots on this forum to see if they were genuine before I'd buy them. There were some doubts about the leather thongues because they existed out of two stiched pieces, wich isn't common for an early war m37 pair. The boots are mint and never used.

I eventually bought them and couldn't find any signs that say something is wrong about them. I though would like to hear you opinions about them and what would be a good price to pay for this pair.

Why? I wan't to sell this pair because I already have another pair, witch is enough for me.

I'm looking foward to your opinions! ( especially about the leather thongues!)
    Thanks in advance!

besides the unusual 2 part tongue you speak of they look great and textbook to me. like many pieces, you can always find a small variation in a few examples out of thousands. I think this is just one of those variations. no markings on the upper outside of the shaft? Glenn

Thanks for your opinions! I'm very glad to hear they are alright! Without doubts! There are no marks on the outside of the upper shaft. Only on the soles and the inside of the shaft. ( very vague)

But how about the price, I would like to have an idea about how much I could ask for them? I've seen them leaving on ebay for 500 - 750 euro's but not in a shape as good as this pair. What do you think?

I would agree, usually the 2 piece tongue is associated with late war lowboots, but as shown here, there are always exceptions. Gerard
