    I cant see any picture?
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

            Ok, thanks for your help.

Beside the lack of markings (and colour?) is it that show that this messkit is a postwar?
I thought it could be a latewar...

              Hello again,
the features shown here don't match with any TR army messkit production features.
It is made of aluminium, including the handle on the lid, but has flat iron parts to maintain the carrying handle on the pot....not good at all....for a late war messkit, the handle on the lid should be made of iron, no exception made between 1940 and 1945. This handle is too wide, the carrying handle is too short, it doesn't even reach the bottom of the pot. Aluminum doesn't look the same than war time one, too new, maybe too "rich". too many giveaways, it has the three marks for the soup rations stamped in the pot, which is uncorrect for a late war messkit. I own one, i keep it for reference....total postwar civilian or army messkit

You only have to know the name of the seller on ebay germany. Tells me enough.
And I wouldn't buy an original item from him either because of all the junk he is slling
