... came to me this Week ! They were found in a cellar next a former " Heeresverpflegungsamt ". All unused. Nearly 200 small ones, with 3 packages of also unused lids, all stamped with " DIN ", so pre May´45, and some big cans, without stamps.

Amazing find! I know that some items have been marked DIN (Deutsche Industrie Norm) after 1945 and continue to be marked this way even today but these certainly look like pre-45 cans to me.
