    Belt Pouch ID Help. Please

    Hello all,
I would appreciate any help ID'ing this pouch before I post. Approx. 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 x 7 1/2 tall. Lid inside marked EPF 1943 and maybe WA199. I don't see that any inside bits, dividers or holders, have been removed.
    Thanks for your help, C.

        Artillery

Hi, I believe this is for an artillery aiming circle.

        Thanks, Mark

          It's for a telephone set.......

It's not a bag for a aiming circle...

So, really, a carrying case for the world's first cell phone.
Thank you both for your good and prompt help.
              Regards, C.

I always thought that this was the case for the aiming circle 31 as illistrated in J. Angolia's book on page 234.

                Here is my case.

                Marked epf 1943.

                Regards Jerry.

Angolia is wrong on that one.....
Don't always believe what is written in books....

The pouch that started this thread is for a phone....
A pouch for a aiming circle 31 is this one...

                      The inside..

The discription on the plate mentions the Rkr, Richtkreis (aiming circle)
