    DAK Gas Can & Mask

    Hi guy's
I'm posting this one for comment as I'm considering selling it. So hopefully the general concensus will be positive.
I've owned it for several years & have always been happy with it's originality. It's quite a salty piece & has what I believe to be all the good qualities of a period applied camo.

    Cheers
    Mike

The Mask is 42 dated but I can't make out the details on the can, but would asume it's either42 or 43 dated.

aside from a gasmask - which is a different story...

can is a late model - 44-45 made... so - DAK story would be rather impossible...

so italy.. balkans - at best...

I dont know about this paint.... I am not a big fan... if You ask me: would I buy it - I would say no....

If I would buy it, it would be because of the different type of closing latch, but not because of the paint Its definately a late type can.

No really, difficult to say, but to be honest, I have my doubts..... you have to have this one in your hands to determine its real, and even then its difficult

damn, so much for my knowledge on camo paint. camo is just to hard to follow for me, I try to learn but I guess Im still not there. its a specific collecting area all to itself. one best left alone by me. Glenn

DEFINATELY not DAK gasmask canister and probably one of the canisters made in 1945 - ctach is one of the features of 45 production.
