No ideas really , but it does look like one of these ammo box for ? , or one of these boxes used on tanks as well ( spare parts ?) but does look more more like an spare mag case to me.

It does look to small to hold mags or so, maybe fuses ??
I really have no clue...never saw it before...and now I have two of tham
