Map case light brown, opinions needed

Hi, I might sell this but I'dd like some opinions first. The map case is lightly used but is still in superb conditon, leather is in great shape and the colour is still very light brow (luftwaffe?). There is a name indication on the inside and on the back of the outside. Like to hear what you think of it.

    Regards,
    Sander

I would like to add that on the first picture the flap looks a lot brighter on the photo that is actually because de sunlight only reflected on that.

If it was used by the LW it probably had a LBA stamp in it. does it has any maker stamps in the leather or is it dated? IMHO it is not an army issued on but private made

              Hello
I am not sure about this one and I don't like it !!! definitely not issued , and very crudely made for a private purchase !!!. Looks more like someon made this one themselves . How does the leather smell ?

Hi, no stamps inside. I also did the smell-test and the case just smells like any other piece of militaria, like an attic. The photos might not do the right justice to the map case so I took an other one to show you.

I agree with the other who have commented so far. This does not look like a production model. Looks like it was home made/ school project......not to be a copy to fool a collector etc.

Yeah could be. So were these used in the war? It has some blurry initials of an Uffz.

                      Regards,

I like it, and I would not mind it in my collection at all.

Pierre and Glenn pointed the weak sides of this case - seems like some home project... it maybe period made, maybe post war, who knows - but its not a typical factory made case...

                          why bother....
