"Butterscotch" Fat Container?

Did a color / pattern similar to the butterscotch colored BGS fat containers ever see use during the war?

If you search under fettbuchse, butterdish or fat container you will see some discussion and pictures.

I just searched for "fat" and found them all (and some unrelated threads)

I think the consensus is the brown/tan ones are not WW2
