    Last ditch pionier assault-bag

    Picked that one up today, never seen such a simple construction... no wonder we lost the war:

    - no pouches for ammo-clips

    - 4 diff. cloth materials

    - 3 diff. leathers used (incl. italian)

    - and the best on its back - who can name it?

      I would say that Germany lost the war cause has too complicated equipment and too many kinds of weapons !! look at american , british , polish or russian equipment - it's 1000 times more simple than german equipment !! offcourse quality of german equipment was much better than other armies (but american or polish equimpent wasn't has very similar quality but still not so good )

            I like the recycled tropical buckle tongues too !
            And it is another Equipment item with Rivets !

            BTW: I had some american suspenders ( Y-Straps ) Years ago, "1944"dated, they looked the same, 3 or 4 diffent materials and colours, diffent stiching ...
