    Gasmask and container

    Hi,

This one comes from an older collection. The container seems to be camoflaged. In real the collor of the container is more going to grey-green than the pics show. The pics were taken a half an hour before dawn.
If all is complete and belonging together it must have been from a LW OGefreiter. Does anyone sees any problems with this piece?

    Kind regards,
    Gerd V

in My town they had german masks in storage till early 90's - that was chemical factory.

anyway - grey maybe factory.. civil defence.. etc... call it as You want it

                            Hello
Regarding the gray paint , looks like some one was painting something else near by . Often happened in vet garage.
I do see the paint you are talking about and I believe that you could have a DAK gasmask there , since the filter 's date and the TP , seems to indicate so , but you will need to take some pictures in daylight.
                            Regards
                            P-Y
