Y straps restitched??

Hi guys,
I have alway known that I have two different accessory straps on my Y straps but I have also just been informed that the presence of aluminium D rings is not what should be. Please comment on hardware and stitching and any thing else you see not right.

So is it a total put together? The RB numbers on the main straps match just fine.

I can see some restiching/very white modern threads/ and all metal parts should be of one sort of metal.That is my opinion.

From what I see, IMHO the smallest straps have been resewn. So, D rings are not original on the whole Y straps. That being said, I already found nice original straps made with different type of leather and different D rings and hooks. Unfortunatelly, yours are made with 2-3 straps.

Brad - its bad... just as I thought....

1. - thats 2 different straps - either both are replaced - re-riveted, or whole bottom parts of straps is different - look #3 (most likely)

2. those are not german aluminum D-rings - wrong shape - means - all stiching on this picture is redone

3. - strap is CUT here and restiched !!!!!! - most likely from a different set

all together - if You have any option to return these - I would - they are tottaly messed up and have no collectible value - maybe reneacting etc... the one and only good part isa back strap - seems to be early and not repaired...
