    Rough value of a tornister

I know there are probably a ton of variables involved, but I was wondering if someone could give me a rough valuation of a tornister in good condition? I'm eyeballing one at the local antique store, and I want to know if the asking price is such that I should pounce on it now, or wait until I can get more details.

    Thanks,

On a good day you can get used ones for 25 € on Ebay germany. Plenty of them around, both Model 34's and 39's.

This in mind, I wouldn't pay more then 50 $ for a standard non unit-marked, used Affe.

Any pictures of the one you consider?

    Cheers

      Hi Chris,

I totally agree with Jan regarding the price of tornisters.

In addition because of the numbers available there is usually no need jump straight in unless it has a stand out feature you are after. (Condition, manufactured date etc...)

      Regards

when comes to fury packs - they arev ery common - so most wanted are those with unit markings or mint...

for a VERY nice marked pack - especially all brown - early - I would pay in $100 range easy.... for mint ones - $150 and up. the mid war average conditions common ones - are not worth too much - $30-60 range

I haven't got any photographs of it. I only really realized what it was after the fact. I think they wanted either $25 or $35 for it, but I didn't know enough about 'em to really take good notes. I'm a few states away from home right now, but once I get home I'll take a peek and see if I can see anything of interest. Admittedly, it's a rather low priority. At the same time, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't passing up the deal of the century.

          Thanks for the help guys.

I agree with the prior posts. Having said that, here's a "bargain" for a tornister on eBan
