Gnarly farbbeutel

I scraped the bottom of the barrel for this one, but I didn't know if I'd ever see a nice one available. The bag once held a dye that was released in the water to mark the location of downed aircrew. I think the hole in the bag is from an enemy strafing run. Well, at least it makes a good story.

One of those grounddug.., I've had several.., they never were filled IMO.
These particular Farbbeutels belonged to the life-boats of which they've found quite a few at the edge of a or more airfields where all this stuff was ditched under the bricks of former buildings and bulldozered into the woods..

Life-boats, farbbeutels, flagpoles, N&G goggles, O2masks etc..., much of these items have been found the last years.

...collection wise these bags are super rare, that's a fact..
