I like it better on the closeups... but why this shiny thing over there - any other pouches of that type in other collections to compare ??

This one is not German WW2, but not a copy either! It appears to be a mil-surp pouch, made postwar as a replacement for one of the armies that continued to use the MP38u.40. The signs of wear are good indication of actual use. Several features of this pouch is not matching original samples!

Yes of course ! It is well known that a lot of armies which used the MP after the war (true) made a lot of pouches exactly as the german army model..... For instance the french army in indochine war: all poor french soldiers have a french made MP pouche on his belt......And the norvegian army: when they decided to sell their old weapons and equipments, all the MP magazines, speed loaders, AND MP pouches were remade postwar............
Be aware guys : it was genuine WW2 MP pouch, fake, copy AND "realpostwar pouch" which have the same features than the german, made with german canevas, hook, ring, leather and which was used in the 50's.......hard for our hobby and so many of them are on the makets: you see those pouches anywhere !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on guys, this pouch is a nice german ww2 one. Maybe not exactly the nice mint CLG one as every collector would like to have....but still a good one.
Anyway, this pouch is now killed ..........

STOP NOW WITH THE " FAKEMANIA"

I see no problems with this one

Hi Pierre, thanks for adding the extra pics and to everyone else for adding their thoughts.

It is very rare for me to start a thread about on E Stand item. I think I have done this twice?

But if you have a concern about an item and just keep quiet this does no good. The only way to learn and keep the E Stand a safe place to buy is to ask questions. This is only fair. Prior to starting this thread I did a search and sent a PM.

I wish you good luck with your sale.

                          Cheers, Ade.

No Problem Ade, E stand has its rules and I accept them.
You said you have CONCERNS, not that you are sure that this stuff is fake or not WW2 like others said. I hate these statements because they kill a nice item without any proof. PLEASE, before stating that Marylin Monroe was killed by the martians who built Stonehenge, think twice.......... Thanks all for your comments.Pierre
