    WH leather belt help

I had just purchased a leather NCO belt from a vet. I had noticed that it had a jnb stamped mfg marking at the end. It has a 1941 date stamp on it as well. I thought that jnb was a holster mfg. do some mfg cross over to other things Paul

Leather producers, generally produced all leather goods for the armed forces.
It would make sense, that having the leather on hand and the machinery to do it you wouldn't limit yourselt to just belts etc.
I had a shovel carrier, frog, and an ammo pouch made by a dresden manufacturer.
    Hope this helps.
    Rick

of course Rick is correct here. I also have Y straps and matching K98 pouches stamped "enn43". Franz Brehme makes a wide assortment of goods. I have a service belt, A frame and ditty bag of theirs. but I have seen Y straps, fur/non fur packs, ammo pouches and frogs also. Im sure they dabbled in other goods that I just havent personally stumbled upon. Glenn
