    Wehrmacht pioneer axe???

    Please take a look at these pictures. Is this Wehrmacht pioneer axe or not? I would like to hear separate comments on axe and on holster. Click on pictures in order to enlarge them. If someone has war time pictures or examples from own collection, please show them. Thanks in advance.

                Thanks hcliffe. Does anyone has more pictures or comments? I remember that several months ago some member of this forum showed same model of axe as shown in my pictures. I would like to see them again.

                    Mine and the other seem to be the same model, mine had the claw cut off.

                    E. Manstein, yours is a different model but does seem to be the same as that on the PioneerDienst book.
