2 strange unusual fieldphones

Another fleamarket-find: 2 unusual models of the standard fieldphone.

While the riveted-one (with very simple construction) - called #1 here - explains itself by the red shield, I wonder what kind of phone the other model - #2 - might be.

Any ideas?
