Hello to all
Some free time tonight, so let me share with you guys this 1938 dated Sauerstoffbehandlungsgerät für Truppen (also called 'alter art'). Made by Dräger (Draeger).
This one is in supreme condition and 100 % complete (mask is tucked away inside and the mouth-piece which is normally stored next to the Drager-tag is attached to it). Interesting is the typical US tag attached on the upper handle with the english description, looks like it was captured in a way maybe? The paint is the earlier green instead of the more common feldgrau/grey paint.
This type of SBG with one breathing-mask was withdrawn from first-line service with the introduction of the SBG model 38 (on which more patient were able to breath).
These don't come any better today.
Cheers
